Patti Ann Buterbaugh Loving Mother and Daughter

Patti Ann Buterbaugh, age 55, of 226 Rice Avenue in Girard, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at UPMC in Pittsburgh after a brief illness.

Born January 14, 1953, in Erie, she was a daughter of Martha J. Gates Buterbaugh and the late James Buterbaugh. Patti was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and was a secretary at the Erie County Office of Children and Youth for 13 years.

She was a member of AA for several years. Patti greatly enjoyed watching her daughter’s sports activities.

Patti is survived by her daughter Journey Rae Buterbaugh, her mother Martha Buterbaugh, a sister Janet M. Rufini, all of Girard, a brother Joe Buterbaugh and his wife Nora of Fairview, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard on Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Burton’s All Faiths’ Chapel with Reverend Clyde Davis of the Girard Alliance Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Girard Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Erie County Office of Children and Youth Welfare Fund, 154 West 9th Street, Erie, PA 16501.
