Denise Long Fowler Denise Long Fowler, age 55, of Erie, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Hamot Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was born in Erie on May 18, 1952, daughter of the late Thurman and Edna Long. Denise was a 1971 graduate of Strong Vincent High School. She enjoyed talking on the phone with friends and family, watching TV, and playing computer and board games.

Denise is survived by one son, John D. Long of Erie; two sisters, Carole Long of Lake City and Patricia Morrow (Lawrence) of Millcreek; one brother, David D. Long of Lake City; one aunt, Evelyn Strong of Erie; her in-laws, Jeffrey Fowler (Cheryl) of Erie, Grace “Peggy” Charney (Edward) of Springfield, Ohio and Patricia Roberts of Frederick, Colo.; good friends Sandy Figueira and Laurie Panitzke, both of Erie; a niece, Martha Mayes of Concord, N.C.; several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Tim” Fowler, Jr.; three brothers, John C., Robert M. and Dennis J. Long.

No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road.
