Richard Joseph Brower Sr., 48, of Erie, died Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation after a lengthy illness.

He was born Feb. 15, 1956, son of the late Richard F. and Rachael Cocco Brower.

He was a salesman at Dugan's Service and Appliance for 13 years and was a deputy in the Erie County Sheriff's Office.
