Mark Copple

Mark S. Copple, age 50, of Erie, died Sunday, October 14, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born February 4, 1957 in Erie, a son of Doris C. Julio Copple of Erie and the late Bert P. Copple. He was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School Class of 1975.

He was a self-employed painting contractor for over 25 years. He was a former bocce player and member of the Nuova Aurora Club. He was also an avid Cleveland Brown and Indians Fan In addition to his mother he is survived by three brothers, Bert A. Copple and his wife Chris of Erie, Gary A. Copple and his companion Annette of Cambridge Springs, Pa. and Barry L. Copple of Erie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Mark’s nephew, Bert A. Copple Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Great Lakes Hospice, 1700 Peach St., Suite 244, Erie, PA 16501.
