LuAnn DiPlacido Brand , age 50, a resident of Florida passed away Friday April 4, 2008 in Erie surrounded by her loving family after a valiant fight with cancer. She was born October 15, 1957 in Erie the daughter of Tania Herbo DiPlacido and the late Louis DiPlacido.

LuAnn was a 1976 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and had worked in Erie as a Property Manager with HANDS before moving into the Tampa Bay, Florida area where she also worked as a property manager. She recently moved back to Erie to be near her family.

Besides her mother, she is survived by a son, Todd Evanoff and Carrie Thompson of Brooklyn, New York; a sister Patricia Klebes of Buffalo, N.Y. and three brothers; John DiPlacido and his wife Grace of Pittsburgh; Mark DiPlacido and his wife Phyllis, and Lou DiPlacido and his wife Ellen, all of Erie. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1116 West 7th St.
