Patricia (Tricia) Loftus Pruyn, age 47, a resident of Erie passed away unexpectedly Thursday October 2, 2008 at her home. She was born October 3, 1960 in Erie the daughter of the late Mary Davis Loftus Sesler and James R. Loftus. Tricia was a 1978 graduate of Strong Vincent high school and had worked as a corrections officer at the Erie County prison for 13 years.

She is survived by her husband Gerald T. Pruyn; a son Nicklaus D. Roschi and his wife Venus of Hawaii; two stepsons, Jeffery Pruyn and his wife Onya and Shawn Pruyn of Erie. Tricia is also survived by two sisters; Julia Loftus Hamilton and her husband Jim of Erie and Sue Gianatiernpo and her husband Lou of Titusville, Pa. She is the grandmother of Mylah Roschi and Lisa Pruyn and is also survived by a special friend Robin Roseberry along with many nieces, nephews, and her two dogs, Vinnie and Mike.

Friends are invited to call at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St. Sunday from 2-5 & 7 until 8:45 p.m. at which time funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
