Truman "Skip" Mitchell Wade age 46, of Erie passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 16, 2011 at his residence from natural causes. He was born in Erie on May 29, 1965 a son of the late Ernest M. and Thelma Smith Wade. He had attended Strong Vincent High School and had worked construction for GM Nelson Construction, Odyssey Builders, and Big Productions. He enjoyed woodworking and enjoyed his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: Randolph and Russell Wade. He is survived by his sister, Autumn Wade of Lenoir City, Tenn.; his fiancée, Jill Waite and her children; Jasmine, Ace and Carter; a niece; three nephews; three great nieces and two great nephews. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Kingsley United Methodist, 913 Cranberry St. Erie, on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. with Reverend Harold Blair officiating. A benefit will be held on Tuesday, September 20th from 5 p.m. until ? at the picnic pavilion next to the Erie Zoo. "Grampa" will be sadly missed by Jasmine, Ace, Carter Henry, family and friends.
