Barrie Mueller VIEW PROFILE

Barrie Anna Rynish, 33, of Charlotte St., in Erie, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 8, 2005, at Hamot Medical Center. Barrie was born in Erie, Pa., on December 29, 1971, the daughter of Barbara Rich Mueller. She was a 1990 graduate of Strong Vincent High School, and a 1999 graduate of Edinboro University, with a degree in Speech and Communications. She was employed for the past year and a half at West Corporation as a quality advisor. Previously, she volunteered at Erie Animal Hospital, later becoming a veterinary technician, trained by the finest doctors for many years. She had a passion for all animals, especially her beloved cats and dogs, who were her most prized possession, and which she put first in her life. Barrie had a fondness for gardening and her flowers, and she loved to decorate for all holidays, especially Halloween. Barrie really enjoyed music of all kinds, and was the first female drum major in her senior year of high school. She played trumpet, keyboard, drums, and guitar, and had a very strong voice with a wide range. She loved theatre and was on stage since the age of five, and was scheduled to appear in "The Rocky Horror Show" at the Roadhouse Theatre opening October 15, a play she loved and also performed in six years ago. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Margaret Fioretti and Fred Rich, and great-grandparents, Anna Mando and Carlo Fioretti. In addition to her mother, survivors include her aunt and godmother, Candace Locke, of Grapevine, Texas; her godfather, Kirk Fioretti, of Erie; her cousin, Tom Locke, of South Korea; great aunts and uncles; and many cousins and friends, whom she loved to visit all over the country. Friends are invited to call at Brugger Home for Funerals, 1595 W. 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd., on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and are invited to attend a memorial service Friday at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, with Rev. Michael DeMartinis officiating.

I don't remember what year Barrie died, but I know it was within the last couple of years. Her mother still lives at the address on Charlotte Street that is in the yearbook. I believe Barrie died of a brain aneurysm. Very surprising and unexpected for her family. I saw Amy Schaeffer at the funeral and she would remember the details. I know Amy still lives in Erie and her kids go to Grandview, but I don't know her married name. Hope this helps.

Funny how you don't think about a person for 20 years, but feel so sad when you hear of their passing. May God bless her family and she RIP.

One of my first friends in grade school. I remember her asking me to help her with my handwriting. In turn, she was going to help me to be more cool. The things we did as kids! She had a kind soul, and will be remembered.
