Melissa was my dear friend for many years. She was witty, insightful, loyal and fun. She kept her dignity when people were cruel to her and that's a testament to her exceptional character. I regret not being there for her when she was sick, but I am priveleged to have spent as much time with her as I did when she was alive. I'm proud to be her friend and I miss her.
