Randy died Jan. 1, 2004.  This is part of the obituary:

MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. Randy Milton Edmonds, 36, of Martinez, entered into rest on Thursday, January 1, 2004, at the St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2004, Graveside at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mr. Edmonds was a native of Augusta, Georgia and was an electrician. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, the late Charlie Edmonds and maternal grandfather, the late Charlie Brooks. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray M. and Lillian Edmonds, Martinez; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ruby Edmonds and best friend, Tinh Tran; and numerous aunts and uncles. Randy also had five dogs that he loved very much, Lucy, Adam, Oliver, Tutu, and Victoria. He was a loving son and a giving person who was liked by all who knew him.
