Hello to all Willard former students.  Sue Draut Kearney and I are planning a Willard Reunion on Friday Sept 12 ( the 50th Reunion weekend.) We would like to have a lunch someplace in North Evanston, near Willard, and then visit the school.  It would be cool if we could talk to some of the students about our experiences at Willard in the 1950s.  Since school is over around 3 pm, you will have plenty of time to get ready for the party at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Remember the Christmas program, with all the children participating, starting with the kindergardners?

Mr Knutson ringing the hand bell at the top of the stairs, when it was time to come in for school in the morning?  ( It was a hand bell.)

Mrs Shaw reciting a Halloween poem every year at an assembly in the auditorium? 

I will post the class pictures I have, but there were two classes for each grade, so maybe some of you have pictures of the class in the other room.

We would like to reunite all the people who attended Willard School, even if it was for a year or two.
