Orrington Class Photos

I have all the class photos, kindergarten through sixth grade and they are a hoot.  I will e-mail them to Marty Campbell when he sends me his e-mail address.  I don't know how well they would turn out attaching them to this forum.

Steven,

I just saw your post (my bad).  If you have Orrington School photos that you'd like posted on the website, feel free to send them to me (jpeg format) and I'll post them in the "gallery".

My email address is fred2m@comcast.net.

Thanks.

i think you did this already Fred.  saw them in the photos on the Home page, i think.  and steve sent them to me, too.  they are a hoot!

but i'm certain there were TWO classes some, if not all, of those years, for sure 6th grade.  Victor Brown and i were talking about this.  Stephen Cohlmeyer for example was at Orrington School and not in my classroom, though we were good friends, and same grade.

it would be nice if someone else came up with the other class' pictures.

you are SO cool.  thank you jp!  thank you thank you.

i don't recall ever seeing these photos.  and i love them!

how did you get them?  when you aren't even in some, like 6th grade?

oh well.  this is cool.  i am stoked.

a nother grand reason this website is far greater a reunion than any physical time-limited day or two.——may it live forever as our final gift to the universe, ETHS class of 64.

okay marty, quiet down.  JP, don't even give him negative attention, it just encourages him!  he's just as bad as Peter McCoy and Raum Browning.

Marty:

They are just my class pictures - it looks like you and I were only together in the 5th grade-

The 6th grade shot was ripped - of course I was the casualty.

I never thought about two classes each year- looking back does work!  JP

Marty, I definitely was in the other 6th grade class from you.  In the newly posted 6th grade photo (thanks, John), I'm the one in the back row with the coat and Indian turquoise beaded tie (a proud gift from my Uncle Norm).  I guess I was the only one with a coat and tie for the class photo because that is what all the guys wore for class photos at Dewey School, which was where I was prior to my transfer to Orrington for the second half of sixth grade. Obviously, Orrington must have been a little bit more laid back and casual.

Enjoyed the 6th photo from 6th grade at Orrington.  I had forgotten so many of those names, but seeing their faces brought back so many memories.  I only attended Orrignton for most of 5th grade and for 6th grade. I attended Noyes School from K-4.

Interestingly, I showed my wife this picture and she picked me out immediately without looking at the caption.

Looking forward to the reunion next weekend.

I got a kick out of my last name being misspelled.  It's Bos, not Boss.  Two different nationalities with these spellings.  LMAO
