Wendy was so cool.  She heard me say, "I wish I had a piano, so I could learn to play." So she gave me her old family spinet. I learned to play, and rocked for many years.

I had forgoten it was "senior picture day" and I had worn an old cowboy shirt that day.  Wendy, who was getting her picture taken just before me, wrapped a red chiffon scarf around my neck and ta-da, I'm a dressed-up cowboy.

I had a secret crush on her.
