To Walker, Rafferty and Baumhol, thank you guys very much for keeping us all posted on what's new with classmembers, for the fabulous 50th reunion, as well as for the FLHS '59 web site.
Too often now what's new is that another of us has passed.
This time: Joel Fried. He's my wife's cousin as well as my good buddy from FLHS '59, and the guy who introduced Joyce and me some 52 or 53 years ago. (We have since forgiven him.) But even though he's related, we've not been in touch that much, and heard about his passing first in our class email. Thank you.
Joel, Jack Jobeless and I lived near each other and walked to FLHS together. Elise Conklin sometimes joined us. Now Joel and Elise are gone. Too *&!$@#^> soon!
To Barbara and their kids, our sincere condolences. You had a good man there. Cherish his memory and remember that you were not alone in loving him.
