Good morning all. Kinda hazy this morning. Temps are nice no wind.
Got a surprise in the drop box, well really not a surprise felt it coming. Angelisa called in sick yesterday, said she was up all night with her sick daughter, this morning there was an envelope with my name on it, inside was a letter of resignation, that she enjoyed working with me and Marti, couldn't give a 2 week notice as her new job she was starting immediately and it was a better job financially. She didn't get along with my boss, both Marti and I saw it coming, but that is ok. She wasn't a huge asset here anyway. She was good with the customers and phone when needed, but usually she was on her phone or issues with family. This will give Marti extra, much needed hours. They won't hire another full time cuz they don't want to pay benefits. Sucks, cuz if Marti finds a job full time she will quit too and I'll be back at square 1 again. Messes up our Sat rotation, I may be working every Sat now, oh well 3 hours.
Jim so she has 3 years left, so she is interning basically. The medical world is a good place to be. I see tons of jobs in this field. Maybe she could get on the Ne team and work on all those hunky football players. LOL
Cindy G if you want rain go ahead and wash those windows. Everytime I wash my car it rains that day or the next. We have something in common, I always buy for someone else before I buy for myself. What's with that???
So Bill do you like the new position better? It has to be hard to be in charge of inventory, keeping enough stock on hand. Order deep for the holidays. I agree with Cindy G, the honey dew list is good for you. Don't want you to get bored and drink too much milk.
Matt you got the update on the helpers. Marti is good, she just needs to trust herself when doing loans. It scares her that she might make a mistake. Still alot of hand holding there, otherwise good.
