Dennis Lee McAlister

Dennis Lee McAlister, 54, died Sunday Aug. 6, 2006.

Dennis was a member of the native Sons of the Golden West. An avid outdoorsman, he was an accomplished horseman, fisherman, and hunter.

He was a lifelong resident of Solano County. He graduated from Fairfield High School, Solano Community College, and attended San Diego State University. Dennis was a businessman in the local community for many years. His occupations included real estate broker, bail bond agency owner and more recently he managed his own investment properties.

Dennis is survived by his parents, Lee A. and Vera D. McAlister of Fairfield; sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Fred Andres of Fairfield; sons and daughters-in-law, Aaron and Kimberly McAlister of Dixon and Owen and Jaime McAlister of Pleasant Hill; son, Jaramy McAlister of Fairfield; daughter Kristen McAlister of Sausalito; granddaughters, Karli and Katie Jacobs of Dixon; nieces and nephew, Katherine Carr of Vacaville, Amy Andres of Vacaville. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the country.

Dennis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude and Ethel McAlister of Fairfield.
