A good friend. I miss you!!!! Sandy was a music teacher at Flood Middle School in Stratford, CT. for over 30 yrs. She was excellent at it. In fact, she found Javier Colon the winner of "The Voice" TV Program. He was in 7th grade when she heard him sing and told him what a beautiful voice he had. He went on from there to be a wonderful talent with a wonderful voice. In later years, he and his family became good friends with "Mrs. Spad".
She discovered many other talents who ended up on Broadway. She loved her "children" and they loved her. She is sadly missed but she has left us with some wonderful memories.
Many days we would talk of the good times we had at Andrew Warde and what a memory she had. There wasn't a name she didn't know. I know that somehow, Sandy will be that our reunion with us. She would never miss a good party.
