you contributed so much to our school and life not only were to a beautiful person but a great athlete. you will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace
Audrey was a hardworking and dedicated athlete. She represented not only William Knibb in track, but also the Parish of Trelawny. We also represented the same track club. I was saddened to hear of her death, especially the manner in which she died. She had a great personality and is surely missed. May her soul rest in peace.
I was devastated when I heard about Audrey's death - she was so full of life. I will always remember her as a competitor at tracks - she was always beating me - She for Sharpe house and me for James House. I know her family mother, father, sister and brothers, but never met her son.
Sports day 1975 at Falmouth Community center, the speakers blaring "Dreadlocks can't live in a tenament yard" and Audrey Steele moving down the 100 meter track, way ahead of her competitors.
Such a raw talent, controversial and competitive in life as she was in track....

Audrey, Leuda Forrester and I were very close, I guess you could have called us the three stooges...lol!I saw her with her son when I was on vacation in Jamaica some years ago; she had not changed a bit.
I was so devastated when I heard of the tragic way she died. I will always remember the times we had together.
Rest in peace my sister!
