The last time i saw Mr Hoshing he was the principal for Clarks Town primary school. He remains unchanged and approachable. The good ones in this life never hang around for long.
Mr Hoshing was my brother in christ he was also the MC at my wedding in 2001 did a wonderful job as with anything he did in life. I was very saddened by his passing a few months later especially since i did not get a chance to attend the service.May his soul rest in peace. Melaine Hines(Milly)
Mr HoShing taught me Geography in 4th and 5th Forms. He was undoubtedly one of my favourite teachers and I was so shaken up when I learnt of his untimely passing.
My first job after leaving WKMHS was as a Community Liaison Officer which took me to a number of primary schools in the parish. Mr Hoshing was principal at Refuge Primary at the time and made me so comfortable.
Unfortunately the last time I saw him was at a funeral for Andrea Cover's father. He passed soon thereafter. I cannot begin to explain just how shocked I was to see his photo in the obituary. May his soul rest in peace. Andrea Parris-M
Chalky was my Geography teacher in 4th and 5th form. He was also a humanitarian and cared for his charges.
My favourite memory is that he taught the graduating class of 78 a poem by Khalil Gibran. The last time I saw him was at a funeral for Glen and May Wiggan's father from Duncans.
His sister Ingie HoShing was my co-worker at Price Waterhouse, and every time we talk about Chalky she still cries...
I knew of a Henry Hoshing, his sister Olive and a brother...they are from Falmouth and their father had a motor vehcle repair shop...is he the same person.
