Olive "Gem" Cole graduated in 1983. She was a sweet and lovely person, full of life and determination. She and her husband died tragically in a motor vehicle accident, when the car that they were travelling in, overturned and landed in a ditch along the Rio Bueno highway. Olive died on the spot and her husband succumbed to his injuries one week later. We all mourn her death, and will never forget her. Thanks to everyone who supported us throughout our time of sorrow. The outpouring of your love and your generosity will never be forgotton.
Sisters Sandra Cole, class of 1981 and Simone Duncan, class of 1994.

What a loss!!! I remember so well Olive and her sister Sandra Cole. NOt only at William Knibb, but also at Falmouth NTCG. She was a lovely young lady. May her soul rest in peace.Sandra E Campbell (1983)
I vividly recollect seeing Olive's picture in the newspaper. For days i walked around in a maze, once again brought to the fore the thin thread between life and death. To her close family and friends, may you find peace in re-living the positive memories you shared with her!To us who are left behind, it is the dash (-) between the year of our birth and our passing that holds possibilities and opportunities... let's remember to use it wisely.
RIP Gem!

Like a comet blazing cross the evening sky,Gone too soon.
Like a rainbow fading in the twinkling of an eye,
Gone too soon
Shiny and Sparkly and Splendidly bright
Here one day,gone one night
Like a castle built upon a sandy beach
Gone too soon.
Missing u Gem.
May your soul rest in peace.
