I met marilyn when i went to WK we were classmates up to 11 grade and marilyn was the nicest person anyone could ever have as a friend very quite easy going person get along with everyone and always greet u with a smile never same like she had a problem in the world if she had one u would never know when i heard of her passing i cried but god knows best so marilyn my friend walk good and rest in peace until we meet again always be in my heart love u girl bless
Marilyn and I were in class from grades 7 through 9. Marily always had a pretty smile, even as a young kid you could see she was disciplined, fiercly loyal and above all very kind. I am at lost for words dont know how many ways to express my sorry to her family, gone too soon is all I can say. Rest in peace Marilyn and may light perpetually shine up on you.
I left William Knibb four years before Marliyn. However, we worked for years in the same industry (Insurance). We had constant communication. Infact we worked together on a project for a course we did at the Insurance College in September 2009. I am saddened by her passing, and wish her family and friends all the best.
Marilyn and I became close friends in grade 7, actually, I could say that we became best friends. She was the first person in class to show me true friendship, and we remained friends up until the end. Marilyn was very kind, friendly, patient, intelligent, she was basically everything I wanted to be. When I heard that Marilyn was in hospital I cried for days, and when I finally got the courage to go see her I saw that throughout it all she maintained a positive spirit, she was determined to get well! Marilyn, my friend, my sister, I miss you so much and I still cry over you, but I take comfort in the fact that you no longer suffer. Sleep well my friend.
How could I not attend her final fairwell? Its a reminder that wonderful, amazing people die young too. She could be anyones friend because she was warm and welcoming. U have let us love and cherished moments.
Marilyn was a wonderful personality that will always be remembered by her peers. She was always pleasant and had a positive attitude towards life. May her soul rest in peace.
Marilyn and I became friends during our high school days. As a matter of fact she called me her twin sister. We were good friends and even after I migrated she came to Tampa in 1998 and spent a couple of weeks with me along with her son David Page who was a baby at the time.
We spoke to each other a couple of times on the phone and I remember my brother Neville would always tell me Marilyn said hello everytime she saw him. I spoke to her recently this year while she was in the hospital and I am glad I was able to speak with her prior to her passing. She was a dear friend and I will always have a place in my heart for her and her family. They were just quiet, nice humble people.
May her soul find rest in the arms of Jehovah and may her family find peace and comfort in the days and years ahead.
