Roland Ray Fuson 39 passed away unexpectedly March 10 in Terre Haute. 

                Roland Was born August 6, 1980 in Terre Haute, IN. to Mickey Fuson and Jerri (Brown-Harding) Fuson.  He graduated from North Central High School and attended Ivy Tech in Terre Haute.

                He worked for Gibalt Home and moved to Putnamville Correctional Facility before finally finding the job he so loved at ResCare in Greenwood, IN.  He cared for the handicapped and physically challenged.  He was very well liked by all he cared for and was a very giving and loving person.

                In Greenwood he would meet the love of his life, Dianna Norris and together they had a beautiful baby girl, Parker, who was born Jan. 1, 2019.  He was an outstanding Daddy to her.

                Roland was very athletic and loved track, cross country, basketball and baseball while in school and never wavered from being a New York Yankee fan.

                Roland loved cars and was raised in his father’s garage helping build and restore several cars over the years.  His personal favorite was the car he found and helped build; a red 57 Chevy 2 door which his father had promised him.

                He had an unbelievable sense of humor which was at times hilarious and loved practical jokes.

Roland was preceded in death by both sets of Grandparents and is survived by both Parents, as well as his sister Holly (Greg) Valentine (Terre Haute), his daughter Parker (Greenwood); mother of his daughter, Dianna Norris of Greenwood; nieces, Savannah Rambis (Lafayette) and Lilly Rambis (Evansville), Aunts Terri McNabb, Deanna Harding, Uncle Ward Brown (Los Angeles), Cousins Don McNabb, Vanessa Bush, Samantha McCoskey, Tommy Fuson and his faithful dog Nick.

                Roland as well as his entire family accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior on January 31, 1993 in Sullivan at the Emmanuel Methodist Church by the Reverend Jack Wease.

                Visitation will be from 11-2, Sunday March 15 at the DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel, Terre Haute.  Services to immediately follow with Burial at Westlawn Cemetery, Farmersburg.
