Joy Flaherty Baysa, July 9, 1974 - July 18, 2008.  Mrs. Baysa graduated from Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville, NC. She also attended NC State University and FTCC.  She was a loving and devoted mother of her two children and will be sadly missed. A memorial service will be held at 6pm Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Sullivan's Highland funeral service in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Baysa is survived by a son Tevin Baysa age 15, a daughter Mia Clegg age 7, her parents Edward and Edith Flaherty of Sanford; a brother, Dr. Joheph Flaherty and wife Dr. Katie Flaherty of Hartsville, SC; and her paternal grandfather William Flaherty. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Eugene and Irene Mitchell. Joy Flaherty Baysa: Born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.  She was a professional ballet dancer during her school years and a violinist while at Pine Forest High School.  She was a devoted mother and her favorite activity was going to the beach.  She recently went back to FTCC and had just completed her perquisites for going into the Dental Hygienist program this fall. Even in her death she was thinking of others, she donated her eyes which will enable two blind people to have sight.  The love of her life was Anthony Clegg.
