On February 11, 2006 Jole Midyette passed unexpectedly after being diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). She was twenty-six years old. In the last several years of her life, Jole' became very involved with The American Cancer Society and Relay For Life, helping to raise money for the American Cancer Society (ASC). Her family has started a non-profit organization that is called The Joy Of Love Everlasting (JOLE) Foundation. The purpose of The JOLE Foundation will be to help with the medical and/or funeral expenses families must face when a loved one is considered uninsurable. It will hopefully help to alleviate some of the heart-felt burden placed on these families. The Class of 2000 remembers Jole.

I will always loved you, and miss you. Sad to hear you pass away, in highschool, you were one of my very best freinds, You were very dare to me, loved our long chats, on the bus to other schools in ROTJ on drill team, you were loving, charming, funny, smart, and had a great out look on life, I will never forget you. Highschool was hard, but you brought out the bright side of things.Still have your message you wrote on my year book ten years ago.
"Josh, you are a great freind, and I wish the best of luck for you. May God bless you and your family. Stay Smart, & you may rule the world!!! Ha Ha Ha(Evil laugh)
Stay sweet and I am always here for you".
Jole Midyette.
I can never say plenty of great things for you. I truly loved you. And thinks for being with me in my times of need.
Loved Josh.

I am so sorry to hear of Jole's death. She had such a vibrant spirit. She was true to herself and didn't pay much attention to the opinions of her peers if they thought she was a little over the top with some of her class presentations. I remember a rousing report on Kurt Cobain - though I can't remember why on earth he was her topic. Jole was the first to volunteer for anything going on in the classroom. Funny - after ten years and over a thousand students that have passed through my classroom door, I remember Jole clearly. I can only imagine the loss her family and friends feel in her absence. My condolences to you all.Jennifer Sagucio

Jolé, I miss you, everyday. I talk about you just about every day. I have raised my boys to be free thinkers, like you, to not care what others think of them, like you, and to show love to all, like you. There's so much I wish I could share with you. There's so many amazing things that have happened to me, but there's so many bad things that you're positivity would have helped me through... Thank you for breaking me out of that shell. Thank you for saving my life. I love you, my dear friend. I'll never stop. I'm sorry I wasn't there for the end of your life, but I know I'll see you, again.
