CHESTER, S.C. - Tammy Christine Ward, 57, passed away peacefully in her home on October 1, 2015, after fighting a long battle with cancer. She was born on September 13, 1958 in Wurzburg, Germany, to parents Lawrence and Helga Ward. Tammy grew up in Fayetteville, N.C., and moved to Chester, South Carolina, in 1991. She had a successful career as a massage therapist at the Tower Club in Charlotte, N.C., and more recently at her practice in Clover, S.C.

Tammy is survived by the love of her life, W. Joseph Harris. Pre-deceased by her parents Lawrence and Helga Ward.

A memorial gathering was held October 10, 2015, at 2487 Old York Road, Chester, SC 29706, from 2-4 p.m.
