Danny "Lawrence" Daniel Jones, 65, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on February 19, 2024, in Wilson, NC. He was born on June 27, 1958, to Lawrence and Rebecca Jones in Fayetteville, NC.

Danny, as he was affectionately known, was a kind-hearted individual who cherished his relationships with others. He is survived by his brother, Dennis Jones, his sisters, Beverly Bordonaro and Ann Crews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Rebecca Jones, and his brother, Bob Jones.

In his career, Danny dedicated himself to the field of architecture and construction. He worked at the Cumberland County Inspection Department from 1980 to 1985, Stepp-Jones Residential Design from 1985 to 1995, Biltwell Construction from 1995 to 2003, and Smith-Sinnett Architecture from 2003 to 2008.

Outside of work, Danny found joy in telling corny jokes, spreading love to everyone he met, and maintaining a close bond with his twin brother Dennis, whom he called ten times a day.

A private service will be held, with National Cremation in Raleigh, NC, assisting with the arrangements.

Danny will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
