Chris Coble, age 39, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday April 12, 2009 at Lincoln Medical Center.
He was a native of Lincoln County and was the son of Phillip and Faye Sulser Coble who survive. Mr. Coble was employed by Fayetteville Public Utilities as working foreman and was a member of the Prosperity A.R.P. Church. He served on the Lincoln County Fair Board, was an avid hunter, special father and husband.
Survivors include his wife Missy Hergert Coble of Fayetteville, three children: Zachary Barnes, Dillon and Mason Coble all of Fayetteville; parents Phillip and Faye Sulser Coble of Fayetteville; two brothers Jeff Coble and wife Stephanie; and Justin Coble and wife Elizabeth. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents G. W. and Mamie Sulser, mother-in-law Mary Hergert and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

I'm so glad Chris and Missy were able to make it to the reunion in November. Like so many people, I was shocked by Chris' passing. I remember Chris all the way back to elementary school days. He was always such a kind person, and I hear he was an exceptional husband and dad later in life.
