Funeral services for Mr. Danny Patrick Williams, age 41, of Hazel Green will be conducted Saturday (Feb. 26)  at 1:00PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Dwayne Pierce and Bro. Joe Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery beside his mother Brenda Mitchell Williams. Mr. Williams passed away Tuesday night (Feb. 22, 2011) in Indianapolis, IN.

A native of Lincoln County he was the son of A.J. Williams and the late Brenda Mitchell Williams. He was employed with Mercer Truck Lines as an independent truck driver and was a member of the Harmony Hill Church of God. Mr. Williams was a member of the Owner-Operator Independent Driver’s Association and was a former volunteer firefighter.

Survivors include his wife Marta Goldston Williams of Hazel Green, father A. J. Williams and wife Anita, two sisters Angie Hatfield of Hazel Green and Julia Jerrigan of Tullahoma, grandmother Juanita Mitchell of McBurg, two nieces Amber McClain Hatfield and Addison Jade Hatfield both of Hazel Green and several aunts and uncles.
