Janice Jesnowski

Janice Jesnowski, 67, of Fergus Falls, died on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at the PioneerCare Center in Fergus Falls.

Janice Marie was born on March 2, 1947, in Fergus Falls, the daughter of Raymond E. and Joyce Evelyn (Thorstenson) Anderson. She was baptized and confirmed at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Fergus Falls. Jan graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1965 and later graduated with an Associate's Degree from the Fergus Falls Community College.

After college, Jan resided and worked in Fergus Falls while raising her two children, Matthew and Virgil Lindely.

On August 13, 1994, she married Donald Jesnowski at NP Park in Fergus Falls.

Her interests included cross stitching, crossword puzzles, reading, crafts and collecting pigs, bells, angels and dolls. Jan enjoyed baking, especially her chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies and loved spending time with family and friends. Jan was a member of Church of Peace in Fergus Falls.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; father, Raymond; husband, Donald Jesnowski; brother, Richard Anderson and brother in infancy, Virgil David Anderson and nephew, Brian Anderson.

Jan is survived by her mother, Joyce Anderson of Fergus Falls; two sons, Matthew (Elizabeth) Lindely of Texas , Virgil Lindely and special friend, Ashley of Fergus Falls, four siblings, Karen (Mike) Ingebrigtson of Waubun, MN, Ron (Mary) Anderson of Fergus Falls, Gary (Ann) Anderson of Bellvue, NE and Daryl (Serena) Anderson of Fergus Falls; 7 grandchildren , along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the family.

Visitation: Sunday, November 16, from 4-6 p.m., with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m. at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home of Fergus Falls and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Funeral Service: 1:00 P.M., Monday, November 17, 2014, at Church of Peace in Fergus Falls.
