Sandra L (Stubbs) Crawford

Sandra Crawford, age 77 of Crystal, passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2024 during a brief hospital stay. She is survived by her husband, Guy Crawford, her daughter Sara Jane Crawford (Mitch Feinberg), her sister Susan Stubbs, niece and nephew Carla Erickson (Tim) and Stan Breitlow (Molly) and her close friends Jo Martinson and Susan Clambey. She is preceded in death by her parents Norvell and Hazel Stubbs.

A native of Fergus Falls, Sandra loved Battle Lake and spent many summers there with Guy, returning to Crystal in the winters.  A loving mother and wife, Sandra also spent many years teaching elementary school in Cannon Falls and then Minneapolis. She then changed careers and worked for Marshall Fields.

With Guy, they traveled throughout the United States in their early years and then settled into a comfortable life tending their gardens, cooking and caring for friends and family, and watching over their many pets. A warm and calming person, she will be sorely missed.

A memorial service will be held at Elim Lutheran Church in Robbinsdale on June 8 at 11:00 am, followed by a lunch at Gearty-Delmore funeral home.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Sandra’s name to Fergus Falls High School (544foundation.org).
