Loren K. Adams, age 60, of LeSueur, MN, died on Saturday, September 1, 2007, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester.
He was born on April 28, 1947, at Fergus Falls, MN, to Donald and Arlene (Rude) Adams. He graduated from Fergus Falls High School and attended Minneapolis Business College and the University of Minnesota. He married Patricia Jones on September 22, 1973 and they were later divorced. He married Ida Mae Jordheim on December 31, 2003. Loren was a Certified Public Accountant at his own firm, Adams & Adams in LeSueur for many years and most recently was the Chief Financial Officer at Ban-Koe Systems, Inc. in Bloomington, MN. He enjoyed golfing and was a member and former president of the LeSueur Country Club. He was active in the First Lutheran Church in LeSueur and was a member of the Gifts and Treasures Committee. Before moving to LeSueur he was a member of the Dalton Ski-jumping Club.
He is survived by his wife, Ida; children, Chris (Stephanie) Adams of Wayzata, Paula (David) Sherbrooke of Lake Park, MN and Ryan (Jackie) Trom of Davenport, ND; mother, Arlene (Cliff) Weisser of Battle Lake, MN; 2 brothers, Rick (Peggy) Adams of Ashby, MN and Richard (Robin) Adams of Vancouver, WA; step-brother, Rick (Cathy) Weisser of Fargo, ND; step-sisters, Pam (Kim) Beckius of Horace, ND and Sandy (Bob) Molacek of Maple Grove.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Hans and Tillie Rude.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at First Lutheran Church in LeSueur at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Carl Bruihler will officiate. Interment will be at the Knollwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fergus Falls at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at First Lutheran Church in LeSueur and one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice or the National Kidney Foundation.
