BOILING SPRINGS, SC-- Ann Claire (Greenagel) Johannes, of Boiling Springs, SC, won a five-year battle with MS and left this earth on Sunday, December 16, 2007, to be with her Loving Savior. She leaves her husband of 39 years, Lt. Col. (USAF, Retired) John, known more as Jack, two boys, Matthew (Janina) of Clayton, NC, and Chris (Lara Joy) of Moore, SC, and four grandchildren, Holly, Gavin, and Frederik (Clayton, NC), and Luke (Moore, SC) who affectionately referred to her as Gabby.

Born in Melrose, MN, Ann grew up in Fergus Falls, MN, with four brothers, Dr. Tom (Dianne) Greenagel from Henning, MN, Bob (Bev) Greenagel from Eagan, MN, Bill (Patti) from Menomonee, WI, and Judd Greenagel who died at eighteen months. Her mother (Elyvan) and father (Howard) preceded her in death.
