Curtis Everett Knudson, age 64, of Hamburg Twp., MI, passed away, April 7, 2011, at Providence Park Hospital in Novi, MI. He was born February 10, 1947 in Bertha, Minnesota to Elmer and C. Joyce (Roy) Knudson. He married Rosemary Ann Dircks on April 25, 1970. He was a hard working Engineer, loving Husband and Father. Curt was also an accomplished guitar player and wood worker. He is survived by his wife Rosemary, and their children and spouses David & Pam Knudson of Canton MI, Lynn & Robert Horneber of Stockbridge MI, Amanda & Scott Henwood of Vincennes IN, his four grandchildren Jacob, Eric, Kara, & Evan, his sisters Patricia & JD Stock of Cold Spring MN and Marcia & Gaylan Thormodson of Dalton MN, sister-in-law Donna & Dennis Wurm of Clearwater MN, brother-in-laws Richard & Kay Dircks of Murrieta CA and Thomas & Barb Dircks of Monticello MN, 11 nieces and nephews. His parents and in-laws Ben and Mary Dircks, preceded him in death. Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM Saturday, April 9, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3430 Dover St, Dexter, MI, with Fr. Brendan Walsh presiding. Cremation will follow. In state, 9:00 AM until the time of mass. Arrangements are under the direction of J. Gilbert Purrse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI
