Valerie Nyland Obituary

Nyland, Valerie J. age 58, of Blaine. Born Nov. 18, 1947, the daughter of Donald and Lillian Wahl. Passed away after a battle with cancer on July 18, 2006. Valerie was a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother and will be greatly missed by many. She enjoyed camping, traveling, reading and crafts. She felt most at peace in her garden at home in Blaine where she displayed a beautiful showcase of flowers. She is survived by her loving family; husband, Norris D.; daughters, Lori (Rich LaChapelle) Nyland and Alanna LeMeiux; grandsons, Jeffery and Justin Nyland; brother, Gary (Portia) Wahl; sister, Donna (Arnold Anderson) Sorum. Memorial service at PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 20 Northdale Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids, Thursday at 11 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services.
