In memory of Valerie Renee James, I want to share a moment or memory of her. She was very down to earth and seemed to care more about others than herself at times. We had gone to dances and dinners many times. So for our Senior Prom, our lil friends who tagged along didn't have the ends to go to the fancy restaruant and buy the expensive clothes. So Val had suggested that we allow them to exprience what its like to go. So we dressed them and fed them. No fancy dinner, just good company! The best! She was one of the best friends not only to me but to many many others! I miss you so much, see ya in about 40 years... or more...
Cousin Val was a very dear friend to all that were fortunate enough to cross paths with her. Our loss was definitely the Creators gain. Very very beautiful in heart, mind body and spirit. As our cousin James has stated previously she was always looking out for the underdog. I remember many times she was looking to connect and help me in my studies and always wanted to help me progress and make a change to help others as well. I remember as a childhood bud she had this Pet Racoon, yes a pet Racoon. Found it as a baby and raised like a cat. For the most part it was very friendly and the odd thing about it... it liked to drink. Drink BEER. It would find left over cans and then proceed to get intoxicated and stagger and wobble. We always had fun laughing together at its curiousities. God Bless us for having an Angel on Earth. and God bless her in Heaven. Love you Cuz.
