Gina Blow (Miller)
Wow....took me awhile to read thru and catch up on the forum this morning. 4-5 pgs I believe.
Bill -- I see you have had a second look at the age thing and decided to be nice this morning since DeDe chimed in. I read all of the slams on the old folks from last night.....just wait. I also read about the clarinet drone....I certainly was not a droner! I still have my clarinet. Kim, Mary, Billy---my clarinet was used. Bought it from Mr. Swift, his son played it for something like 12 yrs before my parents bought it for me. It was in a nasty old case with gold felt lining. I got a new case for Christmas a couple of yrs later, one of my favorite Christmas gift that yr! Sad, but true.
Mary -- sorry for your trauma from Mr. Nall and the whole singing ordeal. I was traumatized by Mr. Eades in 5th grade so I never even made it to Junior High Choir....I was/am that bad. My son just laughs when I try to sing.
Pacino -- skating rink songs......99 Red Balloons; Total Eclipse of the Heart; Don't Try Suicide. Hall and Oates had some popular songs too...I had their album...haha. I went with Bryce to a couple of skate nights when we were in Maryland Heights. It was an old gross place, carpet on the walls and benches...yuck! But it was funny to watch the kids get fired up when a good song was played. I must admit I was still pretty smooth on the skates. Of course my son thought I was a dork b/c I got the "real" skates and not the roller blades. I did not try shoot the duck like Cohoon claims he can still do; but I did have flashbacks of the multiplication skate and Cohoon doing his trademark...."wanna skate" trick.
