Margo A. Hupe, age 66, of Peotone, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 at Provena St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home in Peotone. Private funeral services will be held with Rev. Cory Estby officiating. Interment will be at Peotone Cemetery. Memorials to the American Cancer Society Peotone Relay for Life would be appreciated. She is survived by her husband, Roger L. Hupe of Peotone. She is also survived by her son, Brian (Melissa) Hupe of Peotone; her daughter, Carrie (Alan) Hoffman of Peotone; 6 grand-children; and a sister, Cassie Allbritton of Acworth, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lois (Buchanan) Allbritton. Mrs. Hupe was active for many years with the Peotone Historical Society and Will County Historical Society, she was a moderator working with pet diabetes, and was an avid artifact collector. She formerly owned and operated “Margo’s Pottery”.
