CRANE, Gerald L. - Of Flushing, age 59, died Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Saturday, February 14, 2004 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. David W. Bowser officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation 6-9PM Thursday, 10AM-9PM Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Crane was born in Flint, Michigan on June 21, 1944 and was a resident of Flint and Flushing all of his life. He married Christine Miller on January 30, 1965 in Flint. He graduated from Flushing High School in 1963. He was a member of West Flint Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Crane was employed by Buick Motor Division for 33 years, retiring in 1994. Surviving are wife, Christine; 4 children, Michelle and husband Steve Williams of Davison, Susan and Bill Ranney of Otter Lake, Jeffrey and wife Margaret Crane of Flint, Judith Crane and husband Matt of Flint; 11 grandchildren, Sarah, Samantha, Sabrina and Steven Williams, Katie, Kerri and Keisha Reed, Kendal and Breanna Crane, Amber and Dylan McIntyre; 2 brothers, Don and wife Janelle Crane of Flushing, Gary and Sally Ulshafer of Davison; a special niece, Janae Crane; father-in-law, Kenneth Miller and wife Barb of Flint; several relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by father, Cloyse Crane in 1981 and mother, Myrtle Crane in 1993. A special thank you to Dr. Peter Moody and staff.
