
FRANTZ, David H. Age 51, of 2116 Sir Locksley Dr., Miamisburg, OH, passed away Monday, April 14, 1997 at Hospice of Dayton, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born in Lima, OH September 9, 1945, David grew up in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan, but considered Flushing, MI his home where he graduated high school in 1963. He received his BS Degree from Manchester College, North Manchester, IN and taught school for 5 years in both Warsaw and Rochester, IN, where he also directed community and high school theatre productions. He began his 22-year career in human resources at Duff Truck Line in Lima, OH and continued with Cooper Industries at DOTCO in Hicksville, OH, at Apex in Dayton, OH and finally as director at Cooper Cameron (formerly Ajax Superior) in Springfield, OH. He had also done post graduate work at Bowling Green State University, Penn State University and Kepner-Tregoe. David was the son of Dorothy Frantz (Roeder) of Flushing, MI and Galen Frantz who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Emmitt and Della (Knipp) Roeder, his uncle, Richard Roeder, all of Lima, OH and his niece, Sarah Beth Bellomo. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary Joyce Frantz (Bombich); his son and daughter, Jacob and Emily Frantz, both at home; his mother, Dorothy Frantz; his sister and brother-in-law, Carol Jean and Nick Bellomo; niece, Karen Bellomo and her fiance' Bill Baughman; nephews, Joel and Tony Bellomo, all of Flushing, MI. Funeral services 11AM Friday at The Prince of Peace Church of the Brethren, Kettering, Pastor Mary Jo Flory-Steury officiating. Friends may call at the Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg, OH Thursday 5-8PM. Burial will be Monday, April 21, 1997 at 11AM at the Blue Lick Cemetery, Lima, OH.
