ROESKE, Mr. James David (Jim) Of Millington, passed away Monday, November 16, 1998 at the Caro Community Hospital at the age of 55 years. Jim was the son of Alfred and Virginia (Schofield) Roeske and was born in Flushing, MI on October 1, 1943. He moved to Millington in 1980. Jim was married to Cheryl DeOrnellas on June 6, 1981 in Millington. Jim was employed with General Motors for 36 years. Jim leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Cheryl; his children, Steve and Sydonna Roeske of Montrose, Robert and Sandra Roeske of Flushing, Ron Colman and his fiance Mary of Vassar, and Jeremy Colman and his fiance Karrie of Vassar; 7 grandchildren, Jeffrey, James, Matthew, Sarina, Ryan, Jessica, and Alandra. Jim also leaves his parents, Alfred and Virginia Roeske of Venita, Oregon and 2 brothers and their spouses, Alfred D. and Eleanor of Venita, Regon, Karl and Brenda Roeske of Flushing; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Jim will be 1PM on Friday, November 20, 1998 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Millington. Burial to follow at Millington Twp. Cemetery, Pastors Tim Bickel and James Bruner will officiate the service. Friends may call today 7-9PM and Thursday from 1-9PM. Jim will lie in state at the church from 11AM Friday until time of service.
