YOUNG, Terry V. - Of Fenton, age 59, died Friday, August 13, 2004, at Avalon Hospice. Memorial service will be held at 4PM, Sunday, August 15, 2004, at the Swartz Funeral Home 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Carl Halquist officiating. Cremation has taken place. Those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice or American Cancer Society. Visitation 5-9PM Saturday, August 14 and 1-4PM Sunday at the funeral home. Terry was born on June 1, 1945, the son of, Van and Eileen Young. Mr. Young graduated from Flushing High School in 1963. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and a charter member of the Flushing Sportsman Club. He was a 33rd Degree Mason of Flushing Lodge No. 223, F.&A.M. Mr. Young was employed by Delphi West for 38 years, retiring in 2001. Surviving are: wife, Nancy; 2 children, Lane and wife Cheryl of Boyne City and Michele Young of Florida; 2 grandchildren, Victoria and Hannah Marshall; 3 step-sons, Paul and wife Laura Marshall of Lapeer, Sgt. Jeffrey Marshall of California, Chad and wife Erica Marshall of Denver, Colorado; 2 sisters, Sherron and husband Jack St. John and Susan Duley; several nieces and nephews; beloved dog, Decoy. He was preceded in death by his parents.
