Charles E Hadaway, did you have the personal experience of having your own vehicle stolen, according to your Motto ? I am so very sorry how you died and when you died, summer of 1970, as a very young man just out of high school. That must have shook every loved one's soul to the core, as well as, their faith. Although time and faith are a great healer, I know those loved ones still have a great void in their hearts, missing you. Your ambition was to fly a helicopter. I am sorry you never got to fulfill that. 1970 Retrospect Yearbook page 28
I remember the day Charles died. What a sad loss for this world and God's grace in Heaven. Charles was such a gentle sole and loving person. A life taken from this world too soon. Rest in Peace Charles.
Eliot, you are correct. I was working as an electrician's helper the summer after we graduated. The radio and TV carried the news because he was accidently electrocuted hooking up a electric forklift to a charger or something like that, I don't really recall. But a friend of ours heard that on the radio and called mom thinking it may have been me since I was working as a electrician. I remember going to his funeral....man it was a sad affair. Such a loss and we had so much fun in Daytona after grad!
Charles and I had alot of good times together from the 2nd grade till July 1970.I think of him almost daily and remember our times together. He was a great guy, good son, Christian , and my best friend.
