Sharon and I had many classes together at FPSH. I am so gratefull we got to talk about ole times at the 10th reunion. I was shocked when I saw on this site she had passed away. It is hard to believe so many of our classmates have passed away.
Sharon Rae Miles, your were a ray of sunshine upon this earth. I also believe you rose above the cruelties of life and found great love of life. I am so thrilled that you were the best friend of one of my dear friends I made while in high school. It is amazing how few have friends that go back as far as kindergarten, like you and Sharon Holland Bartlett. Yes, it is quite sad how many of our fellow graduates have died. 1970 Retrospect Yearbook page 39 page 122 Student Council page 140 F.B.L.A. and V.O.T.
What a shock, Sharon was always so much fun and full of life! She and I danced several songs at the 30?? year reunion at the hotel across 85 from the airport. We laughed because we were the class babies, my birthday being the 31st and her's was actually Jan 1 or 2 in 53!!. I always thought I was the young one but she told me that while we were dancing that night. That will always be a special reunion memory for me.
Okay, we lost Cindy, my dear friend after graduation, and countless others....no more dying without first giving me two weeks written notice in person, on the Friday after thanksgiving odd years only!!

Sharon was a sweet dear friend & we became like best friends in the 10th grade. We had history together and seemed to feed off others eagerness to get a good grade. We shared a love of American History. (and an "A" if I remember) We did not keep close contact but did have random meetings and always caught up. Her husband, Milo, loved her deeply and never really recovered from the loss of loosing her.
