James David Phillips, you were one of the nicest young men at Forest Park Senior High. You were positive, cheerful, a good conversationalist. You laughed a lot.
Kathy Binford Guptill and I always enjoyed talking with you. I was so sad to hear that The Lord took you to Heaven so many years ago, while you were in your early 30's. I was glad you completed college, fell in love, and married. We used to say that we would meet at the highest peaks of the Alps 20 years after graduation and yodel across to one another. I look at all the young and beautiful faces in the Retrospect 1970 Yearbook, and wonder how time has traveled so fast. It was only yesterday we were all looking with great anticipation
to our graduation from FPSH. WOW ! 40 years ago, David.
I do look so forward to talking with you again. We will have a lot to share up there. And you will also enjoy hearing about all the experinces of Kathy Binford Guptill and her loving husband, Phil. See ya soon, dear friend !

I joined the site not too long ago and was saddened to hear of David's death. David was such a nice young man. He took me to my one and only prom and I had a great time. My sympathy goes out to his family and friends.
