OK, I have to admit, if I have seen any of you in the past 30 years, I have forgotten the moment. With less than a week until the reunion, it may be time for a summary.
After Fort Dodge, I went to ISU, graduated in Zoology, attended FSU, got a MS in Biology, and went to work for the Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement in the Orlando Regional Crime Lab in Microanalysis. (Married in 1983 to Linda Kearney of Marshalltown (Coach Kearney's daughter)) I have learned from living in FL to take advantage of police helicopter's lighting you up because you get about 3 seconds to find your keys. I am now back in Iowa and working in the Iowa DCI Crime Lab.
Since Bill leaned on the radio side of things, I decided to list some seemingly appropriate songs.
Best summary of last 30 years, "Flirten With Disaster" by Molly Hatchet. Good song that describes life, "Better Not Look Down If You Want to Keep on Flyin," by B.B. King. Favorite song to play while driving between downtown city buildings, "When Love Came to Town" by B.B.King. Best song related to work, "Whiskey for My Men and Beer for My Horses" by Toby Keith. And, best song overall right now, "Missin' Me Some You" by Toby Keith.
I look forward to seeing everyone.
