I think I first met Doug in homeroom at North Junior High. He was big into sports - particularly running - and always put in a lot of effort. I don't remember how long ago he passed away, but I remember being very shocked and saddened when I heard about it from my parents. Roger Peters
Doug was the first neighborhood kid that I met when we moved to Fort Dodge. Doug was a good guy and was always very friendly. I remember that he passed away shortly before my dad did in 2000.
Doug was a great guy. I remember him as a person that loved to run and loved sports. I ran in to him in Des Moines after high school a few times and he was always very interested in what the "Dodgers" were doing. He's in a good place - God Bless!!!!!
