Erick was in my Home Room in High School and I had known him since the 2nd grade, after family moved to Otho. He was a good kid and treated the other students great.
When we were in 5th Grade he wanted to pick the biggest musical instrument to play that he could. He chose the Obo and I can still remember him draging that Obo around, it was almost taller than he was.
The last time I saw him was on graduation day from High School and I remember him saying, "What is everyone crying about, this is a happy day for me, Upwards and Onwards!"

Eric was a great Mr. DePinna (sp) in "You Can't Take It With You," and his imitations of his grandmother were hilarious.
