I knew Rod since the 2nd grade, from our days at Otho El. We were in the same homeroom in HS.
The funny things that I remember about him was, that he would get bored in HR and poke me with a pencil and try to get me to start telling one of my endless story's. One time he tied my hair to my deck, oh, he could be funny if he wanted to be.
On graduation day I remember him asking me "Do you even know who half of these people are? I have never even seen half of them before."
Tracy, He poked me with a pencil too in 10th grade Algebra 1 class!!!! Thats how he introduced himself to me! Funny coincidence!!!. Didnt know him that well, but his passing puts things in perspective for sure. Life is very short and we have to make the most of it Do you know why he passed..? I pray that he knew his Savior and that his soul rests in peace, and that his family is consoled.
This saddened me to find out that Rod had passed away. Rod was in classes with me in High School and would love to bug me whenever I would walk into class. He would say, "There's that redhead like a dick on a dog" but quiet enough that the teacher couldn't hear it but I could! 😂😡 I would get mad,but knew that it was all in FUN! 😂 Or Rod put a tack on my seat, I was in a hurry bcuz I was late to get to class that day and sat down on that sucker, it hurt like Hell to get it out of my BUTT, the whole class laughed n I was so embarrassed my face was beat RED! Those were the good times of 3 yrs with Rod my Class in FDSH! There are many other stories that I could tell about Rod being in my classes he always was cracking me up with some thing funny and I will never forget about him! I pray that his family and friends have the closer and that someday I will see Rod in Heaven! I Pray that you had Jesus Christ in your life the day you passed away. Until I see you again Rod, Your Friend 💘💖😘
