Shelli Stewart - Class Of 1979

Shelli Stewart, 46, of Fort Dodge, went to her heavenly home on October 6, 2007. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stephen Peters officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fort Dodge.
Shelli Sue Stewart is survived by her children, Rhiannon, 17, and Brandon, 16; her parents Orlo and Doris (Fett) Stewart; her sister Jackie (Dennis) Carroll, N.C., her brother Dennis (Patty) Stewart of Fort Dodge, Craig Stewart of Duncombe, great aunts and uncles, aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Shelli was born on February 24, 1961 in Fort Dodge. Shelli graduated in 1979 from Fort Dodge Senior High and attended Iowa Central Community College. She was employed by Home Health, Frigidaire and presently Van Tek in Webster City.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She volunteered at Villa Care Center and Marion Home with Bingo and birthday parties. Her hobbies included quilting, Stephen ministers, pool, mushroom hunting and bell ringer for Salvation Army. She loved farm animals; dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, sheep and horses. She was a very caring and loving mother, daughter, sister. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed.

I did not know Shelli well, but I did get this information from the Ft Dodge paper about her. it sounds like she had many blessings in life.

Shawn Boeger (Law) (1979)

Shellie and I were bestfriends in grade school. I used to spend alot of time on their farm,we would ride horses,help with chores and we were in 4-H together. She was a wonderful person she would do anything for anyone. I remeber playing basketball together at South Junior High. She will greatly be missed.
