Where has all the time gone? After graduation, I spent a couple of years at Iowa Central before a good friend persuaded me to move to New York. I spent a year working as a nanny in Westchester County before moving back to the midwest and setting up camp in Minneapolis.
I joined a band in 1996 and fell in love with live music! For the past 12 years of professional singing, I've done everything from private parties to session work to backing other local artists to fronting my own projects to songwriting and recording albums.
In early 2006, while visiting family in the U.K., I met my future husband. We were engaged later on that year and married in the summer of 2007. At the start of 2008, I began my move to England...and by May of this year, the move was complete! I miss my family and friends in the U.S. a great deal, however, I love living abroad! I find the opportunities for growth as a singer/songwriter to be pretty amazing and well worth the bittersweet relocation. Also, making a home with my husband has been the most incredible adventure of my life so far!
